Volume: 5.0 (min 2.5) mL plasma
Temperature: 37 C prior to separation of plasma
Tube Type: 1 Lavender or Pink Top

1 lavender-top or pink-top (EDTA) tube. Maintain specimen at 37 C for 15 minutes prior to separation of plasma from cells.
Send both the original specimen tube (refrigerated or ambient) and the tube containing the separated plasma (frozen).
NOTE: LABEL SPECIMEN AS PLASMA.
Temperature: 37 C prior to separation of plasma
